Faris J. Bagaeen

Faris Bagaeen is the founder and Principal/Chief Architect of Faris Bagaeen Architects, Engineers, Consultants, which was establishment in 1999.
Graduated from the University of Dundee, United Kingdom, then joined a local Jordanian architectural firm where he was soon made a junior partner in 1983 after winning an architectural award. In 1993 he became a licensed Consultant Architect with the Jordanian Engineering Association. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) as well as being an expert in green buildings design. Also, an active elected member of the association central committee and is head of consultative architectural committee. He also served on the Architectural and Engineering Council board.
Over his career, Faris has led the design and supervision of a remarkably diverse portfolio of building projects, spanning hospitality residential villas, apartment complexes, educational facilities, institutional and government buildings, fire department facilities across multiple governorates, and industrial projects for major companies.
His expertise spans the full lifecycle of each project, from resolving complex architectural and planning challenges to heading design teams and managing site supervision through construction, with a consistent focus on context-sensitive, space-efficient, and environmentally considered solutions.
Nuha S. Handal

Nuha Handal serves as Senior Architect and Head of the Design Department at Faris Bagaeen Architects, Engineers, Consultants, bringing an impressive 40 years of architectural experience to the firm since joining in 2023.
She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Engineering from Amman, Jordan (1986), and has completed specialized training in project management (PMP certified), green building specifications, presentation skills, and MS Project.
A member of the Jordan Engineers Association, her career spans leadership roles at several distinguished firms, including Technical Director and Senior Project Manager at Maisam Architects & Engineers, Senior Project Manager at Consolidated Consultants, and periods running her own practice, Nuha for Design.
Her extensive portfolio reflects remarkable versatility across sectors, encompassing large-scale residential and commercial developments, hospitality projects, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, and international work across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq. She has also handled significant interior design commissions for hotels, retail spaces, and cultural sites.
At Faris Bagaeen, she currently leads the design team on major projects.
Marina A. Abu Leimoon

Marina Abu Leimoon is the head of the Architecture Section at Faris Bagaeen Architects, Engineers, Consultants, bringing 16 years of professional experience to the firm since joining in February 2025. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from the University of Jordan (2010) and was awarded First Place in the 2011 Graduation Project Competition organized by the Jordanian Engineers Association.
Fluent in Arabic, Russian, and English, her career reflects a well-rounded blend of public sector and private consultancy experience.
Prior to joining the firm, she spent two years with the Greater Amman Municipality's Design & Research Department, where she contributed to major public infrastructure projects including the Al-Mahatta BRT Main Bus Terminal and the King Abdullah II Park, along with rehabilitation and maintenance design work for parks across Amman.
Earlier in her career, she spent over a decade at Kayyali and Fasheh Consultants, where she designed and coordinated projects across disciplines including the Rosary School in Irbid, the Kia and MG regional showrooms, and the Orthodox Club rehabilitation, as well as time at Eng. Mohd Shahaltough Office specializing in interior design for homes, restaurants, hotels, and retail spaces.
At Faris Bagaeen, she is currently contributing to the International Community School's Expansion and Campus Redevelopment and landscape design for the World Islamic Science University.
Mahmoud J. Obeid

Mahmoud Obeid serves as Head of Project Management & Project Supervision Department at Faris Bagaeen Architects, Engineers, Consultants, bringing an exceptional 45 years of experience to the firm since joining in 2021.
He holds a B.S.c in Civil Engineering from The Jordan University (1981) and has completed extensive professional training spanning contract arbitration, FIDIC contracts and claims analysis, project management software (Primavera, Prokon, Staad), and urban land development.
He is formally accredited as a Chief of Engineering Offices Consultant for project management by both the Jordan Engineers Association and the Ministry of Public Works and Housing. The cornerstone of his career was 36 years at the Housing and Urban Development Corporation (1981-2017), where he rose through progressively senior roles from Resident Engineer to Deputy Director General, overseeing major housing, school, health center, and infrastructure projects across Jordan, along with extensive infrastructure upgrading initiatives for slum, squatter, and refugee camp areas in Jarash and Sokhna.
His expertise also encompasses tenders and FIDIC contract disputes, having served on government tender committees and supported arbitration proceedings and contractual claims before statutory courts. Following a period as Projects Manager at Sabeel Al Handasa, he now leads project management and supervision at Faris Bagaeen across a diverse portfolio.
Nazmi A. Mhairat

Nazmi Al-Mhairat is Head of the Mechanical & Building Services Section at Faris Bagaeen Architects, Engineers, Consultants, bringing 24 years of specialized experience to the firm since 2022.
He holds a B.S.c in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mosul, Iraq (2002) and an M.S.c in Mechatronics Engineering from the University of Al-Balqa, Jordan (2006).
With a strong background spanning design, supervision, and site execution of mechanical, water, and sanitary systems, his career includes leadership roles as Head of Mechanical Department at several prominent consulting firms, including AE7, Kurdi & Ashlaq Consulting Engineers, and Mounir Hajjiri & Associates, as well as an extensive tenure as Senior Mechanical Engineer at SIGMA Consulting Engineers.
His portfolio features complex regional landmarks such as the King Hussein Cancer Center and Rotana Hotel in Amman, Prince Hashim Hospital in Aqaba, the University of Madaba, the Royal Hashemite Court Project, and the Umramool-Alfattan Towers in Dubai, encompassing the design of HVAC, drainage, firefighting, LPG, and comprehensive mechanical systems for hospitals, hotels, universities, and mixed-use developments.
At Faris Bagaeen, he currently leads mechanical engineering design across a wide range of active projects.
Hani K. Saleh

Hani Saleh is the Head of the Structural Engineering Services Section at Faris Bagaeen Architects, Engineers, Consultants, bringing 30 years of experience in structural design and construction supervision to the firm.
He holds a Master's degree in Structural Engineering (2000) and a BSc in Civil Engineering (1996), both from the University of Jordan. Since joining FB Architects in 2022, Hani has led the structural design of major projects including the Galleria Mall Hotel, the EUBC Commercial Building "The Cluster," the Amman Academy Diwan, and the redevelopment of the Old Chancery Building for the Embassy of India, among numerous villas, institutional buildings, and industrial facilities.
His earlier career spans senior and leadership roles at firms across Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, where he directed the structural analysis and design of landmark developments such as the EDAFAH Hotel and Suites in Al Khobar, the GW Marriott Hotel and Spa in Abu Dhabi, the Saraya Al-Aqaba Staff Facilities, and the Kayfa Tower Projects in Riyadh.
Throughout his career, Hani has specialized in structural modeling, load and stress analysis, materials selection, construction supervision, and regulatory compliance, consistently delivering complex, large-scale projects from concept through completion.
Yazan S. Al Awamleh

Yazan Al-awamleh is a Senior Electrical Engineer at Faris Bagaeen Architects, Engineers, Consultants, with 14 years of experience in electrical design and site supervision across Jordan and the wider Gulf region. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Power Engineering from Al-Balqa'a Applied University (2012), is registered with the Jordan Engineers Association, and has completed specialized training in ABB DOC and Schneider Electric E-codial network design software, REVIT, LED lighting technology, and the National Fire Alarm Code (NFPA 72).
Since joining FB Architects in 2022, Yazan has led electrical design and supervision on major projects including the Galleria Mall Hotel, the EUBC Commercial Building "The Cluster," the Amman Academy Diwan, and the International Community School's Expansion and Campus Redevelopment, among numerous villas, clinics, and industrial facilities.
His prior experience includes senior design roles at Ingenious Engineering Consultant and Ecology Concepts Engineering Consultants in Dubai, as well as work at Arabtech Jardaneh and Al Dar Consultant Engineer, where he contributed to landmark projects such as the Khazna Data Centre in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, Qatar Petroleum clinics in Doha, and hospital projects in Iraq and Saudi Arabia.
Throughout his career, Yazan has specialized in the full scope of building electrical systems power distribution, lighting design, fire alarm and security systems, and lightning protection while coordinating closely with multidisciplinary teams from design through construction.
